About the Owner
My love for lawn care started long before Patriot’s Lawn Patrol ever existed. As a kid, I spent my summers riding along with my grandfather—an Army veteran and the proud owner of a local lawn care business that served our community from the mid-1980s all the way through 2015. He didn’t just teach me how to stripe a lawn, tune an engine, or edge a driveway clean. He taught me responsibility. He taught me respect. And most importantly, he taught me that a job done right is a job done with pride. Those early lessons shaped the direction of my life. I eventually followed the call to serve my country and joined the United States Air Force, where I spent 20 years learning discipline, leadership, and what it means to serve with purpose. After retiring from the Air Force, I came back home—back to the same neighborhoods where my grandfather built his reputation, and back to the roots that shaped me. It didn’t take long to realize I wanted to honor his legacy and create something my own children could learn from the same way I learned from him. That’s how Patriot’s Lawn Patrol was born. Today, I’m proud to bring together two chapters of my life: the values my grandfather instilled in me and the discipline I gained through two decades of military service. Every yard we care for is treated with the same pride, precision, and integrity that both he—and the Air Force—taught me. And now, I get to pass those lessons on to my kids, just like he passed them down to me. This isn’t just a lawn care business for us. It’s a family legacy, rebuilt and carried forward—one yard at a time.— Aaron Porter
